Wilderness Log Furniture

There are two different log furniture styles available which are the Wilderness log furniture and the Northwoods log furniture. The Wilderness bedroom furniture is considered a little more rustic because the logs are skip peeled, which means some of the cambium or bark is left on the logs and drawer pulls. Although, the edges of the tops and drawer fronts are still hand scalloped with a drawknife. The pine logs used have more pronounced character knots to add even more character to the furniture. Whichever style you choose, they are both sure to add rustic character to your log cabin or home.

All the Wilderness log furniture is finished with a clear lacquer to protect the furniture. We can finish these pieces in the honey pine stain as a custom order, but then some of that rustic character is lost because the cambium is hidden under the stain.
