In 1979, Viking Log Furniture started to manufacture rustic bedroom furniture and waterbeds. Starting in about 1990, we began manufacturing pine and hardwood futons, and solid oak bedroom furniture. From there, we added rustic futon frames and even more log furniture in 2002. We manufacture rustic log bedroom furniture, log bunk beds, rustic futon frames, log dining room furniture, game room furniture (including log pool tables), log kitchen cabinets, rustic bathroom vanities, and more.
Barnwood furniture is the second collection to be added. We use rough sawn pine to replicate the look of reclaimed barnwood. We manufacture barnwood beds, rustic barnwood bedroom furniture, barnwood bunk beds, farmhouse dining room furniture, barnwood pool tables, and more. Our most recent furniture line is our sawtooth hickory collection. This is a mixture of barnwood and solid hickory logs. Almost anything we make in the log and barnwood, we can make in the sawtooth hickory. We will custom make any piece of rustic log furniture to your specifications.
Viking Log Furniture manufactures wood products of a very high quality. We maintain the highest possible quality control standards and use only the highest grades of raw materials. This ensures that the finished product is of the highest quality possible. This allows us to offer a Lifetime Warranty on all of our products.
“We are a Minnesota based, growing manufacturing plant, but we will never become a factory for mass production.” -Mike Legatt, President
Pine is usually our choice of wood for manufacturing most of our rustic bedroom and dinning room log furniture, but we do occasionally use cedar. Pine allows us to manufacture a mid-priced log product that still has that rustic or lodge look.
We look forward to the opportunity to earn your business!

We hand draw knife all edges of our accent logs, handles, tops, doors, and drawer fronts. A draw knife is a traditional hand tool composed of a metal blade with a handle on each side. Our woodworkers pull or draw the blade towards themselves to shape or scallop the edges of the pine wood.
