Wilderness 6 Drawer Chest
The Wilderness six drawer log chest is one of our tallest pieces of the log bedroom furniture collection, offering lots of storage space. Its bottom drawers are wide and deep, and the top two smaller drawers are ideal for storing smaller items of clothing. The pine chest of drawers is made of knotty Norway pine that is skip peeled, which means the logs still have cambium or bark left on the outside of the log.
- All accent logs, handles, drawer fronts, and top are hand drawknifed to give each piece a rustic look
- All drawer boxes are solid maple with dovetail construction
- Drawers use side mount full extension roller slides that are rated for 100 pounds
- Aromatic red cedar lines the bottom of every top drawer
- Drawer fronts and tops are constructed of solid laminated strips of 1 1/2″ Ponderosa pine which helps to prevent warping and cracking
- Finished with moisture resistant catalyzed lacquer to protect the cabinet
