Northwoods 10 Drawer Chesser
The Northwoods log ten drawer chesser is the largest and most impressive piece in the log bedroom furniture collection. The log chesser is a combination of the log dresser and the log chest, so we called it a chesser. The four drawers in the top row work great for storing smaller clothing items like socks. The six larger drawers work nicely for larger items like jeans and sweaters. This rustic chesser is constructed of Norway pine that is clean peeled by hand, using a draw knife, which gives a crisp, yet rustic touch.
- All accent logs, handles, drawer fronts, and top are hand drawknifed to give each piece a rustic look
- All drawer boxes are solid maple with dovetail construction
- Drawers use side mount full extension roller slides that are rated for 100 pounds
- Aromatic red cedar lines the bottom of every top drawer
- Drawer fronts and tops are constructed of solid laminated strips of 1 1/2″ Ponderosa pine which helps to prevent warping and cracking
- Finished with moisture resistant catalyzed lacquer to protect the cabinet
