Northern Exposure Sofa Table

This Northern Exposure log sofa table has an extra shelf for added storage for books, magazines, pictures, or what ever else you might want to store under the table. This sofa table goes great with any log or rustic futon, like our Northern Exposure futon. The top is constructed of 2 1/2″ thicksolid Ponderosa pine strips that are laminated together which helps to prevent warping and cracking. The edges of the log sofa table top are hand scalloped using a drawknife to give each table that rustic or lodge look. The table legs are also hand scalloped using a drawknife to give them character and are secured to the top using mortise and tenon construction.
