Every log sofa and lounge chair is constructed using 3 inch diameter logs that are mortise and tenoned and glued together for maximum strength. The log ends of the log sofa and lounge chair are attached to the back and seat sections using a metal insert and bolt, not lag bolts which work loose over time. Every log is hand scalloped using a draw knife to give the log sofa and lounge chair its own unique character. The cushions on the log sofa consist of three sets--a back and seat-- of 24 inch wide cushions.  The log chair has one set of cushions. The cushions have 6 inch thick, high density foam which provide support and will stand up to constant use.
